Hamper Winners from Spring Clean

Congratulations to the boys and girls who won the Easter hampers. They were picked at random from all the pupils who came along on Saturday to help with the Portlaw Spring Clean.

Hurling Class League Winners U11 & U13 2023

 Congratulations to the winning teams in the U11 and U13 hurling class leagues. They had their deserved pizza party today.

We encourage all children to participate in these great, fun games in school.

Congratulations to Ava Rowe who attended every match as the fourth official and did a fantastic job helping the teachers.

Past Pupils Return with the All Ireland

 We were delighted to welcome the All Ireland camogie champions from St. Declan's Kilmacthomas to our school this week.

We were particularly proud to welcome our four past pupils; Ava Fitzpatrick, Kayleigh McGrath, Ciara Harris and Abbie Burrows who represent their school and the village of Portlaw with such distinction.

FAI Soccer

 Well done to the boys and girls who represented Portlaw in the FAI soccer blitz in SETU today.

Class Gaelic Football League Winners

 We had our first ever gaelic football class leagues this autumn for 3rd to 6th class. We had over 80 children take part and it was a great way to spend lunch times this term.
