Thanks to The Carrick on Suir Lyons Club - Raising awareness of Diabetes
Thanks to Carrick on Suir Lyons Club for donating seeds, healthy snacks and info to Mr. O'Shea's and Ms. Keane's classes.
They are raising awareness of Type 2 diabetes and what we can all do to limit the risks of it.
We'll be planting the seeds they gave us at home and in school this week.

Volunteer Traffic Wardens at Portlaw NS
From Monday 19th April we are operating a traffic warden on Talbot Terrace.
The warden will be present to bring children safely across the road from 9.00am to 9.25am and from 2.45pm to 3.10pm.
We are asking all parents to not park or stop & drop inside the zig zag lines, in fact it is an offence to do so.
All children must walk on the footpath and not on the road or next to the school wall. We hope this will provide extra safety and security for our children. Please see some parking options in the map below.
VOLUNTEERS - WE NEED MORE VOLUNTEERS. IF YOU CAN GIVE 20 MIN ONE OR 2 DAYS A WEEK PLEASE EMAIL SCHOOL@PORTLAWNS.COM. Thank You.
